Fog on I5

This morning I want to capture the city blanked by fog from Dr. Rizal Bridge in Beacon Hill. I also want to reduce the noise that I have been getting in my images. The cleanup is what takes me so long to edit. So I set my camera for an ISO of 200 with the Noise Reduction enabled and off I went.

The problem with shooting from this bridge on a weekday during rush out is the buses that shake it as they cross. So I had to do a bit of timing to capture the longer exposures of 30 sec. Still, I weekday is best for this kind of shoot in the morning because you can capture the motion of the light trails during rush hour, a weekday evening would be good to and maybe warmer. I plan to go back again when the fog clears and reshoot.

Post-Process: I picked up a few new tools or plug-ins for Photoshop a while ago. I took the time today to learn then and use them. Dfine was a big help in cleaning the noise. The 200 ISO and Noise Reduction helps but this program RAWKS!!! Also, sharpener Pro 3.0 (Output), I didn’t think I needed but I was turned on when I tested it.
