Corrections

My good photography buddy :iconshannonreiswig: made this statement: "I am viewing this on my monitor at work, which is a p.o.s. mind you. What's your thought on b&w hdr? Do you think that it makes the photo's muddy? I want to view this on a normal monitor, due to it being so dark.
Have you tried creating a HDR from only one raw image? I shot in a department store one raw image and i am going to see what i come up with."
He was right it was a little muddy and I made the correction via the single RAW image but not as an HDR but right in to photoshop for toning and convertion. Thank buddy for your help on this, it is so much cleaner, brighter and more detailed.

Location

In the heart of Pioneer Square, Occidental Park showcases Pioneer Square’s history through a historic glass pergola with heritage panels, towering totems, and the Fallen Firefighter’s Memorial. Sidewalk cafes and local businesses adjacent to the park link the cobblestone-lined space to the amenities in the neighborhood. In the summertime, tables and chairs are placed in Occidental Park to provide seating for residents, employees, and visitors to the neighborhood.

Technique

Converted to black & white in Photoshop CS3

mmmm yes - i like the detail down to the reflection in the wet tiles, the treee's and lights lining the street with so many branches and the feel of symmetry is good too while i mention it!
