Space Needle Black and White by UrbanRural-Photo Space Needle Black and White by UrbanRural-Photo
I took this shot sometime ago. This is a classic Seattle shot that has been done many times over. I wanted to do something different and make it my own and have the same shot as everyone else. I did not add or change anything this is as is.

Have to admit, I'm not a fan of the colour versions from today, but this is just superb! Looks like it belongs on a travel/tourism poster. Lovely...

I really like this one. The tones just came out so well, better even with the new processes. Thanks

i was traveling home from oregon today...my boyfriend driving...while following his parents in the car in front of us....and we took I-5 north most of the way....till for some reason his parents wanted to take 405.....i hadn't seen Seattle in A WEEK. i had been nowhere but FLAT EMPTY COUNTRY/BEACH/DESERT....and i missed the city.

...we ended up driving AROUND SEATTLE. so i didn't get to see it.
and this image was the MOST SATISFYING THING OF MY DAY.
I saw it in your gallery -pointed and said THAT LOOKS LIKE HOME!-

..however i do want to know what you did to make it looks SO BRIGHT AND LIVELY.
(does it have to do with the aperature?) something, seems off...

Not much just pushed the brightness and contrast up a bit.

ThanX
Other than scanning this image into Photoshop CS2, I did nothing to this image. I took this with my film camera before I got my digital camera.
Thanx again.
