Ok all my buddies here in Seattle.  I am looking for Cemetaries.  I want to put this digital camera to work in black & white mode and I want to shoot the best Cemetaries in the area.   The only problem is, I have only been to 2 since I move to Seattle.  Please reply and tell me where you think there is a good shot or if there is a place you've always what to see photos of please let me know that as well.

I am looking for stuff like the movie poster for, "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil".

I couldn't tell you the exact street names or anything... but there is like one southwest of shorewood highschool, which is in shoreline. (founded in 1995)

Got to agree with the neurophonix person: when using digital, shoot color. Because the conversion to black and white on digital isn't always perfect and true so if you take it in BW to start with, you're losing information that can be preserved by doing the BW conversion in a better way then your camera will.

lol i always shoot in color and then convert to black and white because you can easily do that but its not as easy to quickly get color on a black and white photo. although it can be done!

So you don't think I should shoot any digital black & white? The film is not an issue, I have a one hour place that can do b&w in a hour (in house lab) but I am worried that the black and whites may ture up bad now. This sounds like a test to me. I will shoot color and I will shoot the same in color and post in my scaps.

I have time to kill its a long weekend.

well as long as you have photoshop you can just convert the color shots into black and white. which i think gives you more options. like the option of selective color where most of the image is black and white but some parts are color. and its typically easier to use the color that was actually present rather than having to paint it yourself. i think the only advantage of black and white settings on your camera is that the files might be smaller than the color ones.
