So what has old Shelly "Surrealeye" Alexander been up to and what is with all the dark images?
I have been deciding which avenue to follow with my work. In a nutshell, I was doing a little soul searching. The path I am going to take from this point on is that of an Infrared and HDR photographer. Sadly the two will not mix but I am going to work on that with the makers of the software that I use for my work. I am not sure if you all know this, but you cannot do an Infrared HDR, YET, not in Photoshop CS2 or Photomatix Pro. If anyone knows something different please hook me up with the knowledge.
Other than that I have been working. "On what?" you might ask. Well I am glad you asked. I have been working as a second string photographer, Deviantart Admin, lighting and Photoshop consultant for a pretty neat website and movie spin off. You can read the review of the site at Horrorsociety.com (follow the link)

. I just posted the first photo this morning.
This is the reason for all the dark images which bring me to the last thing, my coffee table book. No I am not getting full of myself, I am only making one book to show to people but if a publisher asks me to put it in to production, I ain't going to say no. The will book consists of a short story "Storyboard of Murder: A Life's Graphic Novel" and images that follow and support the storyline:

I am kinda thinking that this is one hell of a personal photo challenge that will keep my mind fresh for the whole summer. My best friend Adam will assist with the story editing and Aaron will consult on the images. Both are creators of the idea behind the site I am working on.
Well there you have it. I am happy, working and being, most of all creative.
